BABACAN: RECENT CRISIS IN CAUCASUS MADE ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN REVISE THEIR ATTITUDES

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said that
Armenian officials seem to be sincere for solution of problems.
Babacan, who is currently in New York for UN General Assembly meetings,
said that during Turkish President Abdullah Gul's visit to Armenia,
the RA officials spoke out for normalization of relations not only
with Turkey but also with Azerbaijan.
Babacan said that the recent crisis in Caucasus made countries in
the region revise their attitudes, adding that Armenia and Azerbaijan
are also among these countries.
Babacan said that he and President Gul evaluated that new situation
as a good opportunity and visited Armenia. "Turkey, Armenia and
Azerbaijan have strong will to solve problems," he said.
Babacan said that all problems are related with each other, and
representatives of the three countries would meet on Friday to discuss
them, Turkish media reports.
