BARONESS CAROLINE COX AWARDED MEDAL OF ARMENIAN PRIME MINISTER

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Prime Minister Tigran
Sargsyan decreed to award deputy speaker of the House of Lords of
the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, baroness
Caroline Cox with memorial medal of the Armenian Prime Minister for her
contribution to the development and consolidation of Armenian-British
relations and her friendly relations with the Armenian people.
Today the prime minister handed the medal to baroness during the
meeting in the government.
Governmental press service told Armenpress baroness Cox has paid her
regular visit to Karabakh and Armenia accompanied by a delegation,
the members of which, according to baroness, in future will become
best friends of Armenia.
Greeting the guests the prime minister expressed gratitude to Caroline
Cox, noting that she has become a legendary person in Armenia and
Artsakh and is well-known for her missions.
Deputy speaker of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom of Great
Britain and Northern Ireland spoke her visit and thanked Tigran
Sargsyan for his award and warm words.
