    NKR SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN ALL PROGRAMS AIMED TO ESTABLISH STABILITY IN THE REGION

    /PanARMENIAN.Net/ On 26 September, President of the Nagorno Karabakh
    Republic Bako Sahakyan met a group of students from the Republic
    of Armenia at the grand hall of the Officer's Palace in capital
    Stepanakert, Central Information Department of the NKR President's
    Office told PanARMENIAN.Net.

    The students arrived to the NKR upon the invitation of the Base
    Metals Company. According to the President such visits are of great
    important and should be carried out on a periodic basis and contribute
    to consolidation of efforts by the world spread Armenians in developing
    Artsakh.

    In a warm and free atmosphere, the President answered numerous of
    questions asked by the students. Special attention was paid to the
    Karabakh issue within the context of recent developments in the region.

    Bako Sahakyan noted that NKR's position of has not changed. The
    official Stepanakert advocates peaceful settlement of the conflict with
    direct participation of Artsakh in the negotiation process. President
    Sahakyan underlined that independence and security of Artsakh is
    unquestionable.

    He appreciated highly Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's address to
    the UN General Assembly, especially the remarks on the right of nations
    to self-determination. Bako Sahakyan welcomed the dialogue between
    Armenia and Turkey noting that the Nagorno Karabakh Republic should
    also partake in any program aimed to establish stability in the region.

    Chairman of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan, Prime Minister
    Ara Harutyunyan, other officials partook at the meeting.
