/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Co-founder and president of Georgian Rustavi-2,
former Ambassador to Russia Erosi Kitsmarishvili said he leaves the
ranks of President Saakashvili's supporters.
He said that after Zurab Zhvania's death in February 2005 the balance
of the Saakashvili-Burjanadze-Zhvania revolution triumvirate was
broken.
"Saakashvili seized the power. He changed the Constitution,
strengthened the presidential institute and dragged us in a war. I
was against hostilities and I can't be one in his team any longer,"
Kitsmarishvili said, Georgian Kviris Palitra weekly reports.
The Ambassador was recalled not long before the armed conflict in South
Ossetia to protest violation of Georgian airspace by Russian jets.
Presently, Erosi Kitsmarishvili is in the United States.
