EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO ARMENIA OPENS IN ARGENTINEAN PROVINCE OF KORDOBA

YEREVAN, APRIL 1, ARMENPRESS: Exhibition of works of Brazilian-Armenian
architect and photographer Stepan Norayr Shahinian dedicated to
Armenia opened March 30 in the Rechino Maders hall of the parliament
of Argentina's Kordoba province.
Armenian Foreign Ministry press service told Armenpress that the
event was opened by the Armenian ambassador to Argentina Vladimir
Karmirshalian and deputy chairman of Kordoba parliament Francisco
Fortuna.
The initiative of the row of exhibitions belongs to the administration
of the AGBU's Buenos Ayres branch with the financial support of
"Ritecks" company and is sponsored by the Armenian embassy in
Argentina.
Before the event meeting of the Armenian ambassador and deputy chairman
of Kordoba parliament took place during which the sides discussed
opportunities of cooperation between the province and Armenia in
economic and cultural spheres. They agreed to establish ties between
this Argentinean province, where about 8,000 Armenian are living,
with one of the Armenian provinces.
In Kordoba the exhibition will last one week after which it will be
presented in Mar del Plata, Rio Negra, Chipplotti, Missioness and
other Armenian-populated settlements.
