Following the launch this year of TRT Tet, Turkey's first official

Corporation (TRT) has announced that it has started radio broadcasts
    in Kurdish and Armenian.

Releasing a written statement on Thursday, TRT announced that the
Radio 6 station, which will broadcast in Kurdish 24 hours a day,
started broadcasting on Wednesday. The statement also noted that
Turkey's Voice Radio station on Thursday started broadcasting in
Armenian for one hour a day, between 7 and 7:30 a.m. and 6 and 6:30
p.m. Radio 6 and Turkey's Voice Radio stations can be followed via
the TURKSAT satellite and the Internet.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan also recently announced that the
