/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze's statement
can't be welcomed, a Russian expert said.

"Earlier, Georgian foreign policy priorities were as follows:
"strategic partnership" with the United States, Ukraine, Turkey and
Azerbaijan, partnership with Russia and "pragmatic cooperation" with
Armenia. These definitions were doubtful from the very beginning. And
we all know the result of partnership with Russia," Andrey Areshev,
expert at Strategic Culture Foundation, told PanARMENIAN.Net.

He also pointed out to the fact that Vashadze's statement
echoed rumors about soonest normalization of Armenian-Turkish
relations. Nevertheless, the "Armenian chapter" of Georgian foreign
policy doctrine will be symbolic, according to the expert.

"Yerevan had better follow its policy of complementarity, maintaining
relations with Russia and intensifying cooperation with Iran,"
    Areshev said.
