AZERBAIJANI DEPUTY: "IF TURKEY AGREES WITH OBAMA ONLY ARMENIA WILL BENEFIT"

"We are aware that only some part of the negotiations held in Turkey
becomes publicized. But what the U.S. President Barack Obama has
announced in a press conference in Turkey makes it clear that he
will not use "genocide" word in his 24 April message but he is
long to see closed Armenian-Turkish border open," Ganira Pashaeva,
a member of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE. Mrs. Pashaeva said that
they are aware that Obama is one of the senators to sign a record
encouraging the U.S. Congress to recognize Armenian Genocide. But
Obama has been trying to say that he is not going to say "genocide"
word in his message. The deputy said that if Turkey opens the border
with Armenia, only Armenia will have benefits from it.
