On April 7, the EU- Armenia Parliamentary co-operation committee had

Assembly European Integration Committee Chair Avet Adonts and Mary
Ann Isler Begen.
Different Armenian officials addressed the session, presenting
the political situation, the social life, the consequences of the
presidential elections, corruption state, and struggle against the
crime present in Armenia.
The participants of the session dwelt also on the oppositional rallies
which followed the presidential election, the March events. The
implementation of the fact finding group and the realization of the
PACE 1609 and 1643 resolutions were emphasised.
Although in the course of the session different question were brought
up and different opinions were heard, all the participants were
interested in one important question: that is to making continuous the
process of the reforms going on in Armenia making the legislation to
correspond to the European criterion. The National Assemble Department
