PAPERS ARE TO BE BLAMED FOR EVERYTHING

Newspapers are to be blamed for the situation shaped in Armenia. Also
for the fact that the Police breaks human rights at every step, Shant
Harutunyan is being kept in the psychiatric hospital for almost a
month being forbidden breathing fresh air, the son of the president's
brother's friend may settle accounts with a traffic policeman who dared
stop him, as well as the big business is out of the tax field. We can
go on this list forever, and Galust Sahakyan is right in stating that
the newspapers are to be blamed for this entire, which write what they
want and what they see. The law enforcer bodies, which demand facts
in order to bring criminal actions and to punish the infringers, do
not manage to read all the information on the newspapers, get confused
in the facts and the crimes remain unrevealed. And the public, which
every day reads about the infringers, loses its immunity and cannot
differentiate the real danger for it from the general "paper" rumors.

Who invented such a "democracy" was a wise man. In essence, it is
half democracy - it is allowed to speak about bad things but there
are no levers for the improvement of the situation.

The papers had better give up writing for a month or two about
the real life and render just the information of the official
sources. Let the law enforcement bodies and the public get adapted to
this situation. And, then let them publish scandalous matters, but
only one for a time, for the law enforcers not to get confused. The
effect may be like that of a bomb. It may be worth trying?
