Baku. Lachin Sultanova - APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister took a
stance on Armenian media reports that Turkish Foreign Minister and
Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan had an incident. Spokesman for
Foreign Minister Elkhan Polukhov told APA that it was another lie of
Armenia media. The diplomat said there was no misunderstanding between
Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign
Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev during the meeting of the Organization
of Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
"Armenian media wrote several false reports during this event. For
example, they reported that Turkish journalists planned to leave
Yerevan for Nagorno Karabakh. This is another lie. It seems that
Armenian side attempts to cast shadow on the relations between friendly
Azerbaijani and Turkish peoples. But such lies can not damage our
relations," he said.
Turkish Foreign Ministry also refuted the report.
