ARMENIA TO PARTICIPATE IN SHANGHAI WORLD EXPO 2010

Armenia plans to participate in the Shanghai World Expo 2010, RA
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said today at the opening ceremony of
the first congress of Armenian architects in Yerevan.
"You are to choose under what brand and how we are going to showcase
Armenia to the world," the prime minister told the architects present
at the congress.
Around 130 Armenian architects from 18 different countries are
participating at the two-day congress Armenian Architecture of the
21st Century.
The Shanghai World Expo 2010 will take place from May 1 to October
31, 2010.
Organizers plan to invite 200 courtiers and international organizations
to the expo.
The 184-day expo is expected to attract over 70 million visitors,
with more than 20,000 various events being planned as part of the expo.
Sovereign states and international organizations, different regions
famous for their urbanization, as well as China's leading enterprises
will enroll in the event.
