Political parties of Nagorno-Karabakh 'Free land', the Democratic Party
of Artsakh, the ARF 'Dashnaktsutyun' Artsakhi Central Committee,
'Movement-88', 'Moral Revival', the Communist Party of Nagorno
Karabakh, 'Armenakan Artsakh' made a statement in which runs:
'Any attempt to doubt or to turn in the debate the reality of Armenian
Genocide is unacceptable for us. We, therefore, urge the international
community to ensure that Turkey recognizes the crimes committed by
the Ottoman Empire against the Armenian people and the humanity -
together with the commitment of material and moral compensation. As
holders of political will of the people opposed to the recent past
the real threat of genocide, and who defended their inalienable right
to independence and self-government in the imposed war, we appeal to
the countries of the region and the international community: never
put into question self-government of the people of Artsakh and the
reality of an independent state.
