YEREVAN, APRIL 24, ARMENPRESS: "Prayers of all Americans are with the
Armenian people at this time so we are pleased to be able to be here
and to be able to pay our respects", - USA Ambassador to Armenia Marie
Yovanovitch said after paying tribute to the memory of the victims
of Armenian Genocide in Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex. Today the
annual address of US President Barrack Obama to the Armenian people
    is also expected.

After paying tribute near the Eternal Flame Ukrainian Ambassador to
Armenia Alexander Bozhko noted that the Ukrainians share the anguish
of the Armenian people as the Genocide cannot be spoken about without
    tears, excitement and indignation.

"An entire civilization has been exterminated - notable part of the
Armenian people. I've translated "Sasuntsi David" and know what
a wander state it used to be, I've translated Vardan Vardanian's
"Komitas" novel, Mushegh Galshoian's novels about the Western Armenia,
I know what took place in reality", - he said.

According to A. Bozhko now it is important that the Armenian nation
has passed through that hard and bloody way and confirmed and continues
to confirm itself in the world.

"We are happy with the successes of Armenian nation and this talented
people who passed such a historical path must by all means have a
good future. I believe in this", - the Ambassador noted.

According to him all the programs of Ukrainian television today
start by announcing that on April 24 the whole world remembers this
    tragic day.
