BORDYUZHA: NELEGAL 2009 OPERATION SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

Nelegal 2009, the operation for prevention of illegal migration
implemented in the framework of the Collective Security Treaty
Organization, has been successfully completed, Secretary General of
CSTO Nikolay Bordyuzha said while summing up the preliminary results
of the operation.
Spokesman of CSTO Vitaly Strugovets quotes Bordyuzha as saying that
during the operation the migration and frontier services of CSTO
toughened their control of migration flows.
The final results of the operation will be summed up June 1
2009. However, the preliminary results are quite positive.
In 2008 the CSTO was chaired by Armenia. Established in 1992 CSTO
has seven members: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia,
Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
