Summer economic activity and liveliness in Armenia would ease the
crisis tension, Nerses Yeritsyan, the Minister of Economy, said to
the reporters today.
"It's already obvious that to recover 6.1% economic decrease registered
in the beginning of 2009 is a hard thing. But we should take into
account another element - the financing flow to our country starts
in summer," the Minister said.
Minister of Economy emphasized strengthening of the economic growth,
because how harder the crisis and decrease are they won't be worse
compared with 2007 or 2008. In this respect the Minister stressed
the importance to continue the reforms in tax and customs fields.
A forecast group is created within the ministry cooperating with
international organizations, the Minister said.
According to those forecast the crisis burst is expected in the end
of the current year. All the measures and statements to prevent the
crisis have been spent in waste even by the developed countries,
the Minister of Economy said.
