VTB LEASING (ARMENIA) INTENDS TO ISSUE LOANS WORTH $20 MLN WITHIN THE NEXT 2-3 QUARTERS

VTB Leasing (Armenia), the Armenian branch of the large Russian leasing
company VTB Leasing, intends to issue loans worth $20 mln within
the next 2-3 quarters. As Director General of VTB Leasing (Armenia)
Valery Ovsyannikov said replying to ArmInfo correspondent's question,
at the moment the given applications are being discussed.
"We have been considering the technical problems on how to carry out
leasing operations and control certain risks for a long time. All
the approaches and procedures have already been approved",- he
stressed. Ovsyannikov added that the company has also determined the
minimal amount of a leasing contract - no less than $1 mln. "We are
negotiating with large companies, and the matter concerns purchase
of imported equipment",- he said.
To recall, VTB Leasing (Armenia) CJSC was provided a licence by the
Central Bank of Armenia on 28 March 2008.
