NKR PRESIDENT MEETS MEMBERS OF THE NKR TRADE UNION FEDERATION

On 30 April President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan
met members of the NKR Trade Union Federation at the head of the
federation's president Ara Khahramanyan, Central Information Department
of the Office of the NKR President reported.
At the beginning of the meeting the president of the federation and
heads of regional branches reported about the activities of trade
unions in 2008.
Bako Sahakyan noted that the work carried out by the Trade Union
Federation in 2008 was effective and he expects active work this
year too.
The President underlined the importance of enlarging the engagement
of trade unions in the life of the republic and their participation
in discussions around different programs including that of the state
budget elaboration.
