/PanARMENIAN.Net/ "Azerbaijani-Turkish relations go far beyond any
bilateral ties. This is not subject to any change and everybody must
be aware of it," Turkish President Abdullah Gul announced.
According to Turkish President, Ankara's diplomacy in relation to
Armenia applies both to Turkey and Azerbaijan. "Time will come when
everybody will approve that policy," Mr. Gul said.
In the meantime, the Turkish official stresses that each country is
independent in its policy-making and decision making-processes. "We
are friendly countries unanimous in our views. But we represent two
separate countries, let alone many other Middle Asian small states
that lie between us. From that viewpoint, we must have respect for
each other's policy," Turkish President's Press Service reports
quoting Mr. Gul.
