YEREVAN, AUGUST 3, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. Come Home program
participants already return the countries of their residence but
Gohar decided to bring her Georgian friends and show Mount Ararat:
"You get up every mourning and see Ararat and we do not. I must bring
my friends and show what wealth we have," Georgian Armenian Gohar
Trchunian said excited.
Though she is for the second time in Armenia but the previous time
she visited only Jermuk. She is now grateful to the RA Ministry of
Diaspora for it has given a possibility to participate in such a
program and be more aware of the Homeland.
She has no time to be bored here, days pass very interesting, she has
new friends... But Gohar was displeased with the internet connection
slow work of which hinders from quick communication with friends.
In her words, there is positive progress in Armenia, but there are
things to be improved: "Only the center of the city is beautiful,
clean here, but the outskirts are ignored, there are few dustbins,
there is no such difference in Georgia."
Georgian Levani Jobava accompanied her in Armenia. The latter admires
Armenia: "I'll again come, everything is good here. You have wonderful
nature, you, Armenians are warm, kind... and the Armenian dolma is
very delicious."
