BORDJUZHA: ARMENIA IS THE LOCOMOTIVE OF THE CSTO

ArmInfo. At the period of its chairmanship in Collective Security
Treaty Organization [CSTO] Armenia has become a unique locomotive in
the CSTO development, CSTO Director General Nikolay Bordjuzha said at
today Moscow-Yerevan TV-bridge: 'The results of CSTO informal summit
in Kyrgyzstan'.
'My statement has all the grounds, as just at the period of Armenia's
chairmanship in the CSTO very complex documents on formation of
Collective Rapid Deployment Force were coordinated and finally signed
by major part of the CSTO member-states. Moreover, at the period
of Armenia's chairmanship, it strictly shown its position on the
integration problems', - he said.
He also added that very serious decision within the frames of the CSTO
were taken in Armenia and serious events held thanks to the active
support of its leadership. As a sample, he mentioned the meeting of
the CSTO foreign ministers at UN General Assembly.
To note, Armenia became chairman country of the CSTO in 2008.
