YEREVAN, AUGUST 7, NOYAN TAPAN. Issues related to the Karabakh conflict
settlement process, the state of democracy in Armenia, in particular
the situation regarding the political prisoners and prospects of the
Millennium Challenge Program's implementation were discussed at the
August 7 meeting of the first Armenian President Levon Ter-Petrosian
and the U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Bryza.
NT was informed from the central office of the Armenian National
Congress that the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch also
participated in the meeting.
