World Junior Judo Championship 2009 ended in Budapest. Armenian five
judoists made a poor showing: Davit Ghazaryan (60 kg) was close to
the victory, but got only the fifth place.
Unlike other countries Armenia did not have women's national
team. Out of seventy-five countries Armenia was the twenty-fifth in
the standings. Japan ranked first, followed by Russia, Korea, Brazil
and Italy, Armsport.am reports.
Azerbaijani and Georgia national teams were in top ten.
