"AVAILABLE APARTMENT FOR YOUTH" STATE PROGRAM PRESENTED TO THE APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNMENT

YEREVAN, AUGUST 11, ARMENPRESS: "Available Apartment for Youth"
state purposeful program has been presented to the discussion of
the government. Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Armen Gevorgyan
told Armenpress that the program has been complemented as a result
of joint discussions with the Armenian Central Bank. It is expected
that in near future it will be approved by the government after which
will be brought into life. The minister said it has not gone essential
changes and supposes state assistance to young families. The priority
will be given to those having more children.
The goal of the program is to assist young socially insecure families
in overcoming apartment issue, improve demographic situation in the
country, decrease the emigration, promote hypothec crediting system.
The program also intends state assistance to young families in
acquiring apartment through hypothec credit.
Armenian citizens of 18-30 years old, those families where one member
is under 30 or an only parent under 30 taking care of a child may
become the beneficiaries of the program.
The minister said more than 1000 initial applications have already
been received for the program. After the approval of the government
main assistance process will start.
