    SARGIS HOVSEPYAN LACKED CONFIDENCE

Vardan Minasyan, the chief coach of the Armenian national football
team, was very confused at the press conference, held after the
match between teams of Armenia and Moldova. The non-official match
served a bad lesson for the young coach; the team had territorial
privileges during the whole meeting but could not realize the goal
opportunities. Hence our team lost with the score 1:4, the reasons
of the loss will be enlightened later.

Vardan Minasyan personally apologized to fans for such a score on
behalf of the team and himself. "The only positive thing in this game
was the discovery of the faults that should be improved",-he said. "It
was not clear how we could not score goals and they could. When the
first 11 meter long kick was registered and Sargis Hovsepyan was to
score it, he informed that he lacked confidence. So Hovhannes Goharyan
realized it. The 11 meter goals to the opposite team were just but
we could not make use of them and lost the game. I think the judge
made a mistake while registered an 11 meter kick to our goal. It was
the Moldavian footballer who went off the rules, so I should analyze
    the mistakes made today".

"I told the team that nothing was accidental and this loss had its
reasons. Our next training meeting will last rather long and I hope
we will have time to solve the problems".

When the reporter of aysor.am asked about the situation in the right
of the playground, where Sargis Hovsepyan was alone in the whole line
and the competing team introduced swift players and got advantage,
the coach mentioned: "We introduced David Manoyan in the second half
of the game to move to the centre, so that Sarrgis Hovsepyan gets
some freedom. The imbalance between the protecting and attacking
lines was possible but we should and had to risk".
