THE "COOPERATION STARS-2009" INTER-STATE AWARD-GIVING CEREMONY
DECLARED IN CIS STATES IN THE SPHERES OF SCIENCE, EDUCATION, CULTURE,
ARTS AND HUMANITARIAN ACTIVITY
YEREVAN, AUGUST 15, ARMENPRESS: The Inter-State Humanitarian
Cooperation Fund of CIS-states declares the "Cooperation Stars - 2009"
inter-state award-giving ceremony.

Ministry Gayane Durgaryan told Armenpress that the annual inter-state
awards are given for the greatest achievements and contribution to the
spheres of science, education, culture, arts, humanitarian activity.
The award in the sphere of science and education is given for such
a great contribution promoting the general progress of science and
education in CIS region. In culture and arts sphere the award is given
for the greatest achievements, which will have a unique manifestation
in art works and will promote the progress of cooperation in the
sphere of cultural heritage of CIS states. The award in the sphere of
humanitarian activity is given for the greatest achievement in the
whole humanitarian field promoting establishing close relations
between the peoples of CIS states.
The award is comprised of money award, diploma, and order of honor
of the award's laureate. Three awards are given to each of the three
nominations - 2 million rubles each. The awards are given to the
individual citizens or collectives, who appear to be the members of
Humanitarian Partnership Council or Inter-State Humanitarian
Cooperation Fund. In case of giving the award to a collective, the
money prize is shared between the applicants appearing to be the
laureates of the given award equally, and the diploma, the order of
honor and the attached certificate are given to each of the laureates.
The deadline for putting up the candidacy is September 15. The
tenders in Armenia are necessary to present to the Armenian Culture
Ministry; to "Cooperation Stars" primary inter-state award-giving
electoral commission.
The founders of the inter-state award-giving ceremony are the
Council for Humanitarian Cooperation and Interstate Humanitarian
Cooperation Fund of CIS states.
