GROUP SCULPTURE TO THE MEMORY OF THE ARMENIANS OF CONSTANTINOPLE

The information and public relations department of the RA Government
informs that today the RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited the
studio of sculptor Levon Toqmajyan.
The Prime Minister has been accompanied by the RA Minister of Culture
Hasmik Poghosyan and the Mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan.
The sculptor Levon Toqmajyan has presented to the prime minister
the group sculpture to the memory of the Armenian intellectuals of
Constantinople who became the victim of the Armenian Genocide realized
in Ottoman Empire. The sculpture is called "Alarm".
Tigran Sargsyan has got acquainted with the primary variant of the
work. The group sculpture is dedicated to the 95 anniversary of the
Armenian Genocide and is being realized by the governmental support.
