PSRC, ARMENTEL, VIVACELL-MTS AND ORANGE ARMENIA FINALLY AGREED

of Armenia approved a new tariff plan for the Interconnect services
between network operators of Armenia at the meeting today, which will
enter into force on January 1 of 2010.
All operators are pledged to reduce price for Interconnect from 10
to 60 per cent by January 1 2010, and starting from July 1, 2011
all operators should introduce a unified tariff at 11.4 AMD. Within
the same interval the tariff for termination of calls from mobile to
fixed network is scheduled to bring from 9.72 to 9 AMD.
The price per minute for international calls from mobile network will
reach 12 cents and will take effect from January 1, 2010. Exchange
rates will be calculated on the last day of the month in accordance
with the RA Central Bank's rate of that day.
