According to the CIS statistics committee, in the first half of 2009
the lowest decline of the GDP was in Ukraine, 20.3 percent. Next
come Armenia, 16.3 percent, and Russia, 13.4 percent. In the same
period growth was reported in Uzbekistan, 8.2 percent, Azerbaijan,
3.6 percent, as well as Kyrgyzstan and Belarus, 0.3 percent.
