Bmi Announces New Connecting Flight from Manchester
More convenient and flexible schedule for connecting customers.
London (PRWEB) August 12, 2009 -- bmi, Britain's business airline, has
changed its schedule on flights between Manchester and London for its
winter timetable. The new schedule will see a new rotation added with
more convenient flight times for customers making onward connections
with bmi at Heathrow to key destinations within the Middle East, such
as Beirut and Tel Aviv or with Star Alliance partners to the Far
East. From October, customers can choose from seven daily flights
including the new mid-morning flight service from Manchester to
Heathrow, departing 10.50, and arriving in the capital at midday.
bmi's Managing Director, Peter Spencer said: "The new schedule between
Manchester and Heathrow demonstrates our commitment to providing a
more seamless service for our customers. The new rotation connects
perfectly with our flights to Beirut and Tel Aviv at Heathrow making
travel with bmi to the Middle East from Manchester smoother and
quicker, while the schedule works well with our Star Alliance partners
and their onward connections to the Far East. "
bmi also recently extended its complimentary Chauffeur Drive service
to include UK regional airports, meaning customers travelling on
selected Business Class fares from Manchester to Almaty, Amman,
Azerbaijan, Beirut, Cairo, Damascus, Kyrgyzstan, Moscow, Saudi Arabia,
Tel Aviv and Yerevan can now take advantage of this service to and
from the airport at each end. The service is also available in the UK
only for those travelling to Tehran and Tbilisi.
In addition to benefits including online check-in and Chauffeur Drive,
customers can also take advantage of Diamond Club, the UK's most
generous frequent flyer programme, and bmi's Company Rewards programme
for SMEs (small and medium enterprises). Diamond Club destinations
miles can be spent on flights with Star Alliance member airlines,
hotel accommodation and on a range of gifts and treats.
