GOVERNMENT PROVIDES 6TH STATE GUARANTEE FOR CONSTRUCTION WITH 20 BILLION AMD INVESTMENT

YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian government decided at
its today's session to provide state assistance to "AVO" company for
finishing construction of building in Yerevan Abovian Street.
Finance Minister Tigran Davtyan said today at the session that with
the state guarantee the company will be able to involve 2 million
USD loan from the Armenian Business Bank with 3-year pay back.
The minister said that this is one of the events of the anti-crisis
program of the government. According to a decision of the government,
the latter is ready to provide budget guarantees so that construction
companies which made over 20 billion AMD investment be able to
involve loans from the Armenian trade banks. This is the 6th such
like guarantee provided by the Armenian government.
Tigran Davtyan expressed hope that these events will give an
opportunity to activate the construction sphere and as a result
increase the GDP volume.
