ARMENIAN RHAPSODY CONCERT TO BE HELD SEPTEMBER 4 IN SOCHI

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian Rhapsody concert in the Hall of Organ
and Chamber Music will be held September 4 in Sochi. Folk songs
by the great Komitas, piano and vocal works by Armenian composers
A. Tigranian, A. Spendiarian, E. Mirzoyan will be performed at the
concert, press service of the culture department of Sochi reports.
The main piece is the "Armenian Rhapsody" for two pianos composers
A. Harutyunian and A. Babajanian, Analitika.at.ua reports.
Sochi Municipal Symphony Orchestra conducted by the laureate of
the Russian government Oleg Soldatov will perform a suite from the
Armenian "Gayane" ballet and music for Lermontov's Masquerade drama
by Aram Khachaturian. Famous Nocturne for piano and orchestra of Arno
Babajanian will be performed.
Soloists Liana Msrlyan (soprano), Souren Vardanyan (piano), Honored
Artist of Armenia Gegham Grigoryan (duduk), Larissa Shkarubskaya
(cello), Matevos Malkhasyan (tenor), Diploma of Russia and
international competitions Valeria Anfinogenova (piano) will present
the audience their unsurpassed mastership in the concert.
