SCR, GEOPROMINING SIGN COOPERATION AGREEMENT

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ South Caucasian Railways and GeoProMining signed
Tuesday an agreement on strategic partnership and cooperation. The
agreement stipulates for offering complex transportation services to
GeoProMining Ltd. The services will include gold ore transportation
from Sotk mine to Ararat enrichment plant.
"The agreement aims at transportation services' quality improvement
and optimization of transportation expenditures," SCR director general
Shevket Shaydullin said.
GeoProMining Ltd. director general Roman Khudoliy, for his part,
expressed intention to increase metal mining industry volumes within
three years, using updated technologies and ore dressing equipment.
Additional investments will allow South Caucasian Railways CJSC to
increase annual capacity of Sotk-Vardenis-Hrazdan-Ararat branch line
up to 2 million tons.
