Athens. Victoria Dementyeva - APA. "Unfortunately I can't answer the
question how soon the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be solved.

Of course, we will reach solution of this problem. But when it will
be? I don't know", said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan
Bernard Kouchner at a briefing in Athens on Tuesday, answering the APA
correspondent's question. "It is impossible to press the sides in the
peace process. It is impossible to hurry them because it is very
sensitive issue. Regarding the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the
geopolitical situation in this region is very complicated. Geopolitics
is a complicated issue and this is geopolitics. Therefore I don't know
when the conflict will be solved. But I ma sure that it will take
place, if not now, it can be possible in the next months. Remember,
several years ago there were number of frozen conflicts. There were
many conflicts twenty years ago - Balkans, Yugoslavia, Bosnia and
others. There were very big problems. But now new tendency is
observed. Earlier we couldn't hold wide discussions over these
conflicts, but now we are working to unfreeze those conflicts
    step-by-step".
