"In case of denying the Zurich protocols by Turkey Armenia has to
review his policy of establishing relations with without preconditions
with that country", - Richard Giragosian the head of the Armenian
Centre for National and International Studies.
"If Turkey fails this process he will lose its opportunity to improve
his relations with Armenia. It will also reinforce the process of
international recognition of the Armenian Genocide", - the speaker
said answering to the question of Aysor.am's reporter what can Armenia
do if Turkey fails the ratification of the signed documents.
According to the speaker the Armenian authorities shouldn't wait for
the decision of Turkey, but it should make steps.
"The external policy of Armenia depends on the inner policy of Turkey",
- the political scientist thinks. He is sure that though the protocols
do not urge the sides to make concrete steps Armenia can urge the
rules of his game from other positions.
"Turkey respects only the force and he reacts only to force. Maybe
now we are strong, because this time the world will understand our
pain and will give that chance to Turkey to feel it too. The blood
of the Genocide victims is still on the hands of Turkey and even the
American soap cannot wash it away", - Richard Giragosyan said.
