ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT APPROVES DRAFT DECISION OF THE COUNTRY'S PARLIAMENT ON RESPONSIBILITY OF AZERBAIJAN FOR NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT

ArmInfo. The government of Armenia has approved the draft law,
according to which the country's parliament has to make a statement
'On responsibility of Azerbaijan for transformation of the Karabakh
conflict settlement to military confrontation', Armenian governmental
press service told ArmInfo. The draft law has been presented by MP
from ARF Dashnaktsutyun party Armen Rustamyan.
In particular, deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan
said at December 3 government session that according to the document,
Azerbaijan consistently distorts the reality and tries to form
a perverted opinion at the world community about the origin and
development of the Karabakh conflict. 'This statement emphasizes
the necessity to recover the real picture of the conflict in the
international structures, and indicates Azerbaijan's responsibility
for its aggravation, as well as the necessity to counteract the policy
of official Baku using all the capabilities of the parliamentary
diplomacy', Kocharyan emphasized.
