"VOLUNTARINESS FAIR" TO BE CONDUCTED IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS: December 5 is marked as an
International Voluntariness Day. On that occasion in "Eurasia"
international university "Voluntariness fair" will be conducted the
goal of which is to present the idea of Voluntariness and its role
in the development of the public as well as its practical appliance
in Armenia.
An official from the university told Armenpress that students of
Armenian universities, representatives of local non-governmental
organizations, international organizations will participate in the
event. Through exchange of information and interactive assignments
the participants will be informed about the organizations involving
volunteers. At the end of the "Voluntariness fair" the participants
will be suggested to join a number of other events of organization
marking the International Voluntariness Day which will be conducted
in Tsitsernakaberd garden and "Pyunik" Union of Disabled people.
The International Voluntariness Day is being marked from 1985 when
the UN General Assembly offered the governments every year December
5 mark as an International Voluntariness Day for the sake of economic
and social development.
