ArmInfo. The Russian company 'Euroset', one of the biggest
cellular phones retail sale networks in the CIS, left Armenia,
having preliminarily stiffed the employees of its Armenian branch -
    'Euroset ERA'.

"In mid May the director of the branch, Mr Kazakov, left Yerevan
without telling anybody about his departure. The branch was deprived of
the authorized signatory",- says the 'Euroset ERA' employees' official
letter addressed to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. "We came across
various runarounds, deception and even obscenities in response to
our request to the president and vice president at the head office
of the company to inform us about the further destiny of the branch
and its employees. At the moment the whole personnel of the branch
is deprived of the opportunity to take discharge from the company,
receive the salary arrears in accordance with the labor legislation of
Armenia, receive their documents and find a new job",- the letter says.

To recall, press-secretary of Natalya Aristova said in an interview
with ArmInfo earlier that the company was leaving Armenia because
'Armenian users appreciate low prices more than legality and quality'.

I wonder what a quality of the company and legality of its work
the leaders of 'Euroset' may say today presenting their activity in
Armenia like a sample. According to local analysts of the market,
the work of the 'Euroset' was the worst sample of Russian investments
in Armenia. They think that the company did not manage to keep their
positions at the local market, first of all, because of the weak and
low quality management and absolute absence of any marketing policy.

The company did not position itself at the local market, as it did
not seriously think about its assortment and specter of extra services.

'Euroset' simply failed competition not with 'black' or 'grey' market,
which is quite developed in Russia as well, but first of all, with
retail nets of official representatives and distributors of the
    world brands.
