Diplomatic school opened in Armenia

The first examination for applicants to the Diplomatic School of the
RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been held in Yerevan. The press
service of the RA Foreign Office told NEWS.am that the 138 applicants
passed the first examination. Addressing the applicants, RA Foreign
Minister Edward Nalbandian said that `the opening of the diplomatic
school is an important event for Armenia's young diplomatic service.'
Among the lecturers are RA deputy foreign ministers, Armenian
ambassadors, as well as foreign ambassadors to Armenia. The Foreign
Ministers of other states and high-ranking diplomats will deliver
lectures as well.
Relevant agreements with the European Union, OSCE, as well as with
diplomatic academies in Rome, Moscow, Tokyo, Vienna, Tallinn have been
reached.
