OUTRAGED AZERI MPS ISSUE ADDRESS TO U.S. PRESIDENT AND CONGRESS

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Outraged by the U.S. decision to allocate $8 million
to Nagorno Karabakh, Azerbaijani parliament members issued an address
to the U.S. President and Congress. The MPs called on Mr. Obama
"to impose veto on the decision".
The U.S. House and Senate agreed upon a far-reaching Fiscal Year 2010
spending measure that includes a $41 million economic aid package for
Armenia, $8 million for "programs and activities" in Karabakh. Parity
in military aid to Armenia and Azerbaijan was also maintained.
