Brazilian Armenian 15-year-old chess player Armen Proudian scored
5,5 points out of 7 and took the title of the champion in the U16
group of the Youth Championship of South America which was held in
Mendes, not far from Rio de Janeiro. With this important success,
Armen Proudian qualifies for the title of FIDE Candidate Master,
Armenian Chess Federation reported.
