AN AGREEMENT ON "PARTNERSHIP IN EXPORTING PRODUCTS OF MILITARY SIGNIFICANCE TO A THIRD COUNTRY" SIGNED BETWEEN ARMENIA AND RUSSIA

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS: The regular fourth session of the
Armenian-Russian inter-governmental commission of military-technical
partnership was conducted December 14-17 in Yerevan, chaired by the
co-chairs of the commission - Armenian Deputy Defense Minister Alik
Mirzabekyan and Deputy Director of the federal service of Russian
military-technical partnership Constantine Biryulini.
Media and Information Department of Armenian Defense Ministry
told Armenpress that issues concerning the further development of
Armenian-Russian military and military-technical cooperation were
discussed at the session.
Within the frameworks of the session Armenian Defense Minister S.
Ohanyan and Deputy Director of the federal service of Russian
military-technical partnership, Co-Chair of Armenian-Russian
inter-governmental commission of military-technical partnership
Constantine Biryulin signed December 16 in the administrational complex
of Armenian Defense Ministry a memorandum on "partnership in exporting
products of military significance to a third country".
During his official speech preceded the signing ceremony Defense
Minister S. Ohanyan underscored that the signing of the memorandum
between Armenia and Russia is of great significance for deepening
Armenian-Russian military cooperation, and it will promote the
strengthening of the military efficiency of the armed forces of the
two states.
