/PanARMENIAN.Net/ People in Karabakh hold contradictory views on
their country's future, according to Turin University Professor Luca
Guiduzzi. "Some say it will become one of Armenia's regions while
others are keen to believe that Karabakh will be an independent
republic," Italian scholar told a round table discussion hosted by
Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS).
The 'neither-war-nor-peace' situation makes Karabakh people that they
are still at war, he believes.
With regard to Karabakh conflict settlement, Italian professor stressed
the importance of involving Armenian and Azerbaijani societies in the
process. "The same applies to frontier region. People should learn
to co-exist peacefully," he noted.
