ArmInfo. Armenia and Kazakhstan are ally countries in the Collective
Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), and that sums it up, Armenian
President Serzh Sargsyan, who has paid a three-day working visit to
Kazakhstan, said in his interview with Kazinform.
According to him, in the international practice there is no higher
level of cooperation between countries than alliance implying mutual
commitments in case of appearance of threat against one of the
parties. "We are dynamically promoting this cooperation by both
building the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces and developing the
contractual-legal base, and holding large-scale joint exercises",- the
Armenian leader stressed.
Serzh Sargsyan expressed confidence that the two countries are fully
using the opportunities of economic cooperation. "In the future we
should encourage the contacts between our business communities by
creating convenient conditions for interaction",- said the president.
