Vic Darchinyan to try himself in another weight division

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ `I want to go up and prove myself in other weight
divisions,' the Armenian boxer said.
The Vic Darchinyan - Tomas Rojas fight might have seemed like a wild
swinging firefight to most observers. However, When former Flyweight
and current Super Flyweight Champion landed a straight left that
deposited Tomas Rojas on the canvas in the second round of their fight
that knockout represented the exact finish he expected all along,
ringsidereport.com reports.
`He came out and jumped on me. He felt he could take my punches, (He
felt) that I couldn't punch. He was confident he could get to me and I
love that. He was confident so he jumped on me and I knew my punch
would come,' Vic Darchinyn said during the interview to the boxing
portal.
Darchinyan's pure punching power proved ineffective in his failed
bantamweight title bid against Joseph Agbeko earlier this summer. The
only thing that can keep him in that weigh class is the possibility of
taking revanche over Nonito Donnaire.
`I want to go up and prove myself in other weight divisions,' the
Armenian boxer said.
