SCR REDUCES TARIFFS FOR FREIGHT TRAFFIC IN EXPORT AND IMPORT COMMUNICATION

ArmInfo. To support the Armenian economy in conditions of the financial
crisis and reduce the impact of Armenia's budget rate differences
of 2009-2010 on calculation of the payment for carriage of goods
in the international railway communication, a decision was made to
apply decreasing coefficients of 0,77 in export communication and
0,84 in import communication from January 1, 2010 to March 31, 2010,
to the current procedure of calculation of the carriage charge in
the international communication over the territory of Armenia.
The tariff policy of SCR CJSC for 2010 freight year has been published
at the Company's official site www.ukzhd.am
SCR CJSC is the 100 percent subsidiary of Russian Railways CJSC. In
February 2008 SCR obtained a concession of the state CJSC Armenian
Railway. The agreement of concession of the Armenian Railroad CJSC
for 30 years with a 10-year renewable period was signed in Yerevan
in February 2008.
