IN OCTOBER 2009 REDUCTION OF AVERAGE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES OF 325 ORGANIZATIONS IN ARMENIA WAS 3.6%

YEREVAN, December 22. /ARKA/. "Analysis of generalized indicators
of monitoring of large tax-payers of Armenia for October 2009"
states that in October 2009, average number of employees of 325
organizations in Armenia was reduced by 3.6% compared with October
2008 and made 103.782.
Monetary means targeted at the payment of work were increased by 2.7%
and made 14.6 billion drams. During the reporting period the volume
of overpayments of large tax-payers was 60.8 billion drams, including
VAT- 42.3 billion drams and tax liabilities -15.9 billion drams. In
October from the amount of overpayments transferred to state budget
was formed the return of the amount of VAT in 2971.7 million drams.
Committee of State Income of the Government of Armenia developed and
analyzed "Generalized indicators of monitoring of large tax-payers for
October 2009" according to the program "Strategy of tax administration
of the Republic of Armenia for 2008-2011" with the aim of providing
transparent, unified tax services for large business and for the
improvement of tax and customs administration. Monitoring was conducted
among 325 large tax-payers of Armenia for October 2009. ($1 - 375.14
drams).
