AZERBAIJANI AMBASSADOR TO RUSSIA: NEXT MEETING OF AZERBAIJANI, ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARIANS IS NEGOTIATED

Next meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian parliamentarians has
not been scheduled yet.
The visit of Azerbaijani and Armenian public figures to the occupied
territories is not on agenda, Azerbaijani ambassador to Russia Polad
Bulbuloglu said.
The ambassador said the meeting was negotiated and its venue had not
been specified yet.
"This meeting cannot contribute to the conflict solution. We declared
that we don't interfere in the negotiation process. We are trying to
establish better relations between the two communities. The question
is that we have to co-exist finally and communications should be
started sooner or later," he said.
"We have not communicated for long time and it causes negative
thoughts. We need contacts to lift these problems. Of course, these
meetings can not contribute to fundamental solution of the problem.
The solution of the problem depends on politicians".
Azerbaijani and Armenian parliamentarians held their first meeting
in Moscow on Oct. 22, 2009.
