A GROUP OF EXPERTS AWARDED MEMORIAL MEDALS OF RA PRIME MINISTER ON OCCASION OF DAY OF POWER SPECIALIST

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 22, NOYAN TAPAN. A group of experts were awarded
memorial medals of RA prime minister and received letters of
thanks on the occasion of the completion of the Iran-Armenia gas
pipeline's construction and Day of Power Specialist. Prime Minister
Tigran Sargsyan handed the awards to them during a festive event on
December 22.
Speaking about the achievements in the energy sector and the reforms
being effected there, T. Sargsyan said: "The sector has some bold
tasks to carry out: construction of the new power unit of the nuclear
power plant, which will change qualitatively the situation and have
both economic and political significance, also construction of the
termal power plant which is successfully being completed, and other
new projects".
The RA Government Information and PR Department reported that the
prime minister expressed a high opinion about work of Armenia's power
specialists and assured those present that the government will assist
with the implementation of all projects.
