IRAN TRYING TO PREVENT TURKEY FROM BECOMING REGIONAL LEADER

was caused by the launch of Armenia-Turkey rapprochement process,
Constitutional Right Union party leader Hayk Babukhanyan said.
As he told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter during a news conference in
Yerevan, Iran has repeatedly expressed willingness to become a mediator
in Karabakh conflict settlement. "Tehran intensified activities to
prevent its principal rival from becoming a major regional actor,"
he said.
